Check Point: Q2 Earnings Snapshot
TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) _ Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (CHKP) on Monday reported second-quarter profit of $173.6 million.
The Tel Aviv, Israel-based company said it had profit of $1.36 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.64 per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 12 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.62 per share.
The data security company posted revenue of $571.1 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Thirteen analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $560 million.
